At the Open Source Conference 2010 Oita , there will be a NetBSD booth staffed by members of the Japan NetBSD Users' Group with many hpc{ mips, sh, arm } gadgets demonstration.
FOSDEM '10 is a free and non-commercial event organized by the community, for the community. Its goal is to provide Free and Open Source developers a place to meet. Several FreeBSD developers will be present.

The Libre Software Meeting has occurred each year since July 2000. This year there will again be a FreeBSD boot camp to introduce new users to the Operating System.
The ninth annual European BSD Conference will take place in Karlsruhe, Germany in October, 2010, and include a technical track, tutorials, and FreeBSD developer summit.
